On the hunt for planarians!

The task at hand: capturing planarians (specifically Girardia tigrina) in freshwater habitats around North Central Florida. Currently, the only freshwater lake with adequate coverage is Newnan's Lake (which coincidentally happens to be near my house!). After capturing the planarians, I will perform the experimentations for the L-methionine study for my Honors project. Will L-methionine help regenerating amputated tissue? We will find out after nabbing over 90 of these little guys! Well, that's all for now. Check back soon!
