Experimental Research

A little about me

“Science and everyday life cannot and should not be separated” -Rosalind Franklin
Greetings! My name is Jennifer Pelfrey. I currently live in Gainesville, Florida and I'm a research biologist at the University of Florida. My accomplishments have involved working in managerial laboratory positions and conducting experimental research for regenerative studies. I am also an environmental advocate and started a non-profit organic recycling program called Green Rescue. Plant breeding and genetics have always been an interest of mine, and I have raised and bred over 20 different species of orchids as well as 2 hybrid species of wine grapes. I'm also an avid photographer and enjoy drawing, sketching, and painting whenever I get the opportunity. Thank you for stopping by my page and enjoy my projects.
